Questions
Things people ask us.
How does the free trial work?
A new organization gets its first 14 days free, once. You add a card at checkout, and the first charge comes when the 14 days are up. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
How do seats work?
Each person in your organization is one seat, owners and admins included. The count goes up when someone accepts an invitation and down when you remove them, so nobody has to keep it up to date. A change partway through a month or a year is prorated on the next invoice, so you pay for the days someone was on the team.
Who can change the plan?
Owners and admins. They start, change or cancel it from the Billing page, which opens Stripe’s own pages to do it. Everyone else can see the plan and nothing more.
How do I cancel?
An owner or admin opens Billing and cancels. The plan carries on to the end of the month or year you’ve paid for, then stops. Nobody has to call us.
What happens if a payment fails?
Stripe tries the card again, and your owners and admins get an email with a link to update it.
Will invoices show our business details?
Yes. Checkout asks for your billing address and tax ID, and invoices show them with your business name.
